Hello! I’m Emis, a London-based wedding photographer, photographing weddings across the UK and Europe.
I specialise in documentary wedding photography, capturing fleeting moments, genuine connections and the atmosphere of your day as it unfolds. My approach is relaxed and observant, allowing people and events to unfold naturally rather than directing the day around photographs.
With a background in Architecture and Design, I’m fascinated by how people interact with the spaces around them. That curiosity carries into my photography, where I look for the gestures, encounters and passing moments that reveal the character of a wedding, the things that might otherwise go unnoticed.
From lively London celebrations to countryside weddings and weekends further afield, I work with couples who want to spend less time in front of the camera and more time enjoying the day with their favourite people.

My ethos:
Weddings are about far more than the big moments. They’re about what happens in between, the reactions, conversations, laughter, colour and fleeting moments you couldn’t have planned.
My approach to documentary wedding photography is deliberately hands-off. I want you to spend your day with the people you’ve invited, rather than being constantly pulled away for photographs. I’ll blend into what’s happening, stay alert to the moments unfolding around me, and capture the day as it genuinely feels.
There’s no rigid shot list or formula to follow. Every couple, venue and day is different, so I approach each wedding with fresh eyes and adapt to what’s happening in front of me.
The result is a gallery that feels personal to you, full of movement, atmosphere, humour, emotion and the little moments that might otherwise be missed. Photographs that don’t just show what your wedding looked like, but bring you back to how it felt.

I find myself incredibly fortunate to travel all over for weddings
Over the years, I've photographed weddings across London, from intimate ceremonies at Hackney Town Hall to celebrations at Asylum Chapel and beyond. Every venue brings its own character, but my approach stays the same: documenting the people, atmosphere and unexpected moments that make each wedding unique.
Meeting new people and experiencing different places constantly inspires me. It's what keeps wedding photography exciting after all these years and what drives me to create photographs that capture the atmosphere, emotion and energy of the day in an honest way.
