Chelsea Town Hall Wedding
Jessica & Rhys
Chelsea Old Town Hall Wedding
Jessica and Rhys married at the stunning Chelsea Register Office, and this was a wedding I was very much looking forward to capturing. Just a week before their day I was here again for the wedding of Tessa & Matthes. I met these two lovely people over a pint at their local in Kensington. After hearing about their day I was super excited for summer to come because I knew it was going to be a stunning day. The Chelsea Town Hall proved to be a spectacular backdrop for the day.
It was a small intimate wedding celebrated by close family and friends. The couple were after a short 2 hour coverage, and they managed to squeeze in 30 min of morning prep. I was so happy they decided to squeeze some morning photos, the emotions that morning were high, and in that short 30 min coverage I managed to capture so much emotion (scroll down and see for yourself!). I hoped in a vintage car with the bride and her father, and as we approached the Register Office I could see Jessica starting to get nervous. I captured some lovely moments between the bride and father as the nervous started to show.
Out of all the wedding venues I visit, the Chelsea Town Hall never disappointing. I love that the building is so small, it means guests stay together and I’m able to keep photograph small candid moments before and after the ceremony. I mention it a lot on my website, but to me it doesn’t matter if I’ve shot a venue or not, as my wedding photography is all about capturing people, and that is the main focus on the day.
If you are looking for a wedding photographer I would love to hear from you and be part of your wedding plans. I photograph weddings in Chelsea often, so if you are thinking about getting married here do drop me a email. I would be happy to share my thoughts and ideas, and more importantly capture your wedding!
