Photographer

The Horniman Museum is an absolute gem for any wedding photographer. It offer beautiful natural light for the ceremony, lovely green backdrops for your wedding photos, making your images pop with clarity and colour. The surrounding gardens at The Horniman are stunning too if you fancied doing some portraits or family photos around the site.

I have only had great experiences here with my booked couples, and would encourage anyone who is looking for a botanical theme for their wedding day, and still be in the heart of London, to check this venue out.

As a recently added Horniman wedding photographer, I can offer my couples plenty of advice and tips on how to make your day flow naturally, look amazing, and best of all, how to enjoy the day without worrying about timings. I got your back!

Grace & Chris’ Wedding Day at The Horniman Museum & Gardens

Grace and Chris had their wedding at the Horniman Museum & Gardens last summer during a scorching heatwave. I was lucky enough to be their wedding photographer for the day, capturing their special moments in this beautiful setting.

I began the coverage about 1 hour before the ceremony was scheduled to start. Focusing on guests arriving, the setup and the build up leading to the ceremony. With the sun shining brightly over the museum's grounds. The flowers looked even more vibrant under the golden rays, enhancing the already picturesque surroundings.

When I arrived at the venue, I could feel the excitement in the air. Chris was arriving with his brother and best-man, carrying crates of champagne and beer for the guests to enjoy in the blazing sunshine.

Their ceremony was held in the museum's stunning glasshouse, filled with lush greenery and exotic plants. Grace and Chris exchanged vows amidst towering palms and cascading vines. Their words spoke volumes about their love and commitment. As they sealed their vows with a kiss, it felt like the sun was shining even brighter, as if nature itself was celebrating their union.

Despite the breathtaking beauty of the surroundings, my focus remained on capturing their wedding day in a documentary style, just as they had requested. This approach allowed me to preserve the authenticity and emotion of each moment, ensuring that their love story would be told in a genuine and heartfelt way.
