Asylum Chapel Wedding

Nina & Joe

Maverick Project Wedding at

the Asylum Chapel

The Asylum Chapel is one of those dream wedding venues for all London wedding photographers out there. Beautiful derelict backdrop, candle lit ceremony, romantic and sometimes dramatic light pouring in through the stained glass windows, it's just such a stunning wedding venue to photograph! Labelling myself as an official Asylum Chapel wedding photographer has been on the list for a while now, and today I can finally share what I captured to describe Nina & Joe's Alternative wedding option in Peckham. Currently the building is run by the Maverick Project group, offering the space for events and wedding ceremonies.

Emis we love them!!...Thanks so much, these are exactly what we were after, just capturing the moment and nothing looking staged or stiff, amazing work Emis!

PLANNING YOUR OWN WEDDING AT THE ASYLUM CHAPEL ?

Nina & Joe were just the perfect couple to work with, they simply conecentrated on each other on the day, and felt totally relaxed to be themselves, which meant I was able to capture the day naturally, concentrating on key moments that tell their story, and describe the feeling of the day through my photos. I love it when couples can switch off and not think about me or the camera on their wedding day. I believe wedding photography shouldn't have an Impact on your plans, or how you wish to go about your day. Do things your way, and I will be around to capture the moments you miss. I want you to be able to to laugh, cry and love your photos!

The Asylum chapel wedding venue has ticked all the boxes for me, and I cannot wait to be back here next summer to challenge myself and see what new opportunities arise. Thanks again Joe and Nina for being so great to work with! and hope you will enjoy your wedding photos for years to come.
