London Wedding Photographer

My name is Emis, a wedding photographer in London with many years experience covering weddings all over the city, and all over the country. Some of my best wedding photography experiences have been in London, with so many amazing wedding venues in London I’ve been lucky to meet some truly remarkable brides and grooms.

My distinctive wedding photography style has attracted couples who want a more creative and storytelling set of images from their wedding day.

Emis was professional and fun. His photos captured everything we wanted to see; the speeches, emotions, the dancing, and moments between friends throughout the night. I cannot recommend him more. Don’t hesitate to book him. Everyone loved the photos so much. So impressed! “

Looking for a London Wedding Photographer?

I’ve been a professional wedding photographer for just over 6 years now, photographing hundreds of weddings across the city of London and the UK.

There are so many styles of wedding photography out there it can be a really hard for couples to decide what type of photographer to go with. I will never ask you to pose, or act in a way that makes you feel uncomfortable. I won’t ask you to twirl, dance, life each other up, or get the guys to rugby tackle you. My goal is to make sure you are relaxed, being yourselves, and allowed to just enjoy your day, as if I wasn’t present. I use small Fujifilm cameras (for the camera enthusiast) to make myself less intimidating, and prime lenses to ensure I get up and close to the action.

My London wedding photography is mostly focused on using available light to create honest documentary style wedding photos. I don’t use flash because I want your photos to reflect the real atmosphere of the wedding, it also makes my reportage photography style unique, and no wedding will ever look the same. My natural wedding photography allows for my photos to have a personal and intimate feel. My priority is always to capture real moments, and allow the day to flow naturally as it would if a photographer wasn’t present – resulting in more honest and authentic memories recorded, and less posed and awkward smiles.

Planning a wedding in London

The city can offer couple a range of stunning wedding venues in London. Those looking for a grand gesture should head to the Hotel Cafe Royal, with its high ceilings, Corinthian pilasters and mirrored panels – creating the perfect backdrop for any style of wedding and civil ceremony. For those who want a more intimate wedding in London, there are hundreds of amazing venues across the city. Some of my personal favorites are the London Fields arches, or The Old Marylebone Town hall – a stunning registry office in the heart of London.

For those who are familiar with London will know that the city is full of quirky little venues, and will know about the secret utopia at The Barbican Center. A stunning oasis where you can get married inside the conservatory surrounded by tropical plants! There are so much variety on offer, and I’m excited to hear about your plans, so lets grab a drink and have a chat about your wedding day, my photography style and get you booked.

Below is a small selection of my favourite wedding venues in London, where I have had the pleasure of spending the day with an amazing couple, and capture their story. London Documentary Wedding Photographer

I am a Documentary wedding photographer and the term is often reffered to as ‘reportage wedding photography‘ howere, they both describe the same core value – an unobtrusive approach to wedding photography. I’ll see from looking around my site that my approach to weddings is very “hands-off”. I won’t stop or disturb any of the proceedings, set up or fake shots, tell people where to stand, or pose for the camera. My aim is to be invisible, sometimes that is difficulty when everyone is getting ready in a small room, but I do my best to stay out of the way, and only enter for a shot when I see a moment about to happen. This documentary style will allow you to focus on your day, knowing every precious moment is being captured creatively in the background.

Professional wedding photographers have the ability to remain discreet during the day, but also give you guidance when needed. This allows them to create very candid wedding photos, but also find time for those all important family group photos. With this in mind it’s important to do your research, have a skim through my blog, it is full of wedding galleries, advice, in-depth review and more…
