Thatched House pub + Church of the Holy Ghost Wedding
It feels good to be blogging again! I had taken a break from posting over the winter, but now with the Pandemic, I am finding more time to get back to posting more work! Whilst looking through the archive I stumbled across this amazing wedding I photographed last spring. It was the wedding of Annie and Marc, who married at the beautiful Church of the Holy Ghost St Stephens in Hammersmith – London. It was so lovely looking back through their wedding photos, and some of the great happy moments captured on the day.
It was my first time at the Church of the Holy Ghost, and my first time as a wedding photographer at a church venue that year. Crazy I know! I have to say it really is a special place to get married, such a lovely place! I’ve mentioned this before, but its worth saying it again; it really doesn’t matter if I’ve shot at the venue a thousand times, or if it’s my first visit, as weddings are all about people, and to me, always will be. That’s the core to wedding photography – People, Emotions and Moments, that is what makes every wedding unique.
Annie and Marc are such a great couple, look how happy they look the entire day! They definitely put a smile on my face. After the ceremony everyone headed to The Thatched House Pub in Hammersmith where Food and Speeches kicked off the evening reception. I was a massive fan of the Grooms’s dad presenting the couple entrance by playing the bag pipes – what a legend!
Anyway enough of the words from me, enjoy a small selection of my favourite moments from this Holy Ghost & St Stephen wedding day.
