The Cross Key's Pub Wedding
Tessa & Matthes
Cross keys Pub Wedding in Chelsea
The venue offers an historic setting for your wedding them, beautiful surround fields, and a rustic vibe opportunity for those who are into a more boho themed wedding. It also serves as a wonderful place for cool quirky photo opportunities. Overall it is a perfect location for a chilled out yet stylish wedding day.
My couple Tessa & Matthes were incredibly lovable! Such a happy and relaxed couple, it was such a pleasure to capture their day. They wanted a small and intimate wedding surrounded by the people that meant the most to them. There is something really special about photographing small weddings. For starters you get to know all the guests, and in return they really get to know me. I personally love this as it sets up a relaxed atmosphere right from the start, and means I can get closer to people, which results in more intimate and honest photographs.
Please enjoy a few of my favourite photos from the day below…
The morning of the wedding I arrived nice and early (as I always do) only to find the streets of Kensington full of brides and grooms! Wedding season has really kicked off. Tessa & Matthes looked perfect together, and I loved capturing their special moments together. In particular I enjoyed the photographing Matthes sneaky looks during the ceremony. It was so nice to witness, and made for some great moments captured.
After the ceremony we took a short walk to Cross Keys where the couple toasted to their marriage and sat down for lunch. While there is no doubt The Chelsea Town Hall is an impressive venue to have your ceremony, it was the lovely vibes of the family that filled it. I would highly recommend the venue to any couple, and I look forward to coming back soon.
